Communications (by email or other means, which pass through the JuzFrens systems) between yourself and other members or employees of JuzFrens. Other personal information provided voluntarily by you. This could be in response to surveys, contests or online activities. Emailed comments and/or opinions of other members or site visitors about you. These may include testimonials, complaints and general member feedback. Other members' 'private notes' about you. An individual member may add you to his or her list of favorites and make notes there to help him / her remember his / her communication with you. These notes are only ever visible to that individual member. JuzFrens staffs do not monitor or look at these notes in ordinary circumstances. Non-personally identifiable information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited etc. None of this information identifies you personally. JuzFrens may, from time to time, review and update this privacy policy statement to take account of new laws and technology and changes to JuzFrens' operations. All personal information held by JuzFrens will be governed by its most recent policy, posted on JuzFrens. How we use the personal information we collect about you. JuzFrens may use information it collects from you for the primary purpose for which it is collected and for such other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose of collection. JuzFrens generally uses personal information to: Provide you with products or services you have requested Personalize and customize your experiences on JuzFrens Post profile information on the JuzFrens website that is used to promote you to our other members. As such, it may be viewed by individuals anywhere in the world. Communications with other members are passed on to those members automatically. They are also stored for a limited period so that they can also be accessed via the JuzFrens website by either party. Other personal information provided voluntarily by you is used to better understand our members and to help us improve and promote our services. Complaints are investigated as appropriate. The fact of the complaint may be recorded and details stored in case of future complaints against the same member. Other members' private notes about you are used there to help him / her remember his / her communication with you. These notes are only ever visible to that individual member. JuzFrens staff does not monitor or look at these notes in ordinary circumstances. Non-personally identifiable information is aggregated and used to help us improve our service and infrastructure. In most cases where JuzFrens asks you to provide information about yourself, if you do not provide JuzFrens with that information, JuzFrens will not be able to provide you with the requested product or service. JuzFrens may disclose personal information to other companies in the Fairfax Group that may only use it as set out above. JuzFrens may share web site usage information about visitors to JuzFrens who have received a targeted promotional e-mail campaign, with mTouche Pte Ltd for the purpose of targeting future campaigns and upgrading visitor information used in reporting statistics. For this purpose, JuzFrens and its third-party advertising company would keep information on the email campaign and some of the pages you visit on JuzFrens through the use of pixel tags (also called clear gifs). JuzFrens may also provide your information to: third parties engaged by JuzFrens to perform functions on its behalf, such as processing credit card information, mail outs, debt collection, marketing, research and advertising Third parties authorized by you to receive information held by JuzFrens Other third parties, as required by law Profile Information submitted by Members to JuzFrens The personal information of a Member contained in his or her profile will be public. However each Member has the option of sharing his or her contact options, either thru SMS or call. They are: Members can block any SMS or call from other users apart from those existing in their buddies' list (see below) "Buddies" which consists only of that Member's friends from buddy list, will be automatically allowed to send sms and make calls to member "Anyone" which is all non-member visitors to the JuzFrens website, will not be allowed any contact with member. PLEASE NOTE THAT, REGARDLESS OF WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION A MEMBER CHOOSES TO INCLUDE IN HIS OR HER PROFILE, OR WHAT LEVEL OF SHARING HE OR SHE CHOOSES, CERTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT EACH MEMBER WILL BE INCLUDED IN JUZFRENS' MEMBER'S PROFILE. A LIST OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN EACH PUBLIC PROFILE CAN BE FOUND IN THE JUZFRENS TERMS & CONDITIONS. PROFILES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANY USER OF THE JUZFRENS WEBSITE, WHETHER OR NOT THE USER IS A MEMBER. Other Information submitted by Members to JuzFrens Except where a Member might choose to include a full name in his or her profile, a Member's email address and full name will only be used in the following circumstances: When the Member invites a friend via email to become a JuzFrens Member, When the Member sends a request to another Member to add the other Member to his or her buddy list,When we send notifications to the Member relating to his or her use of the JuzFrens service or JuzFrens website, andIf the Member so chooses, when we send regular notifications, weekly updates, or other news regarding the JuzFrens service or the JuzFrens website.Except when inviting or adding friends, a Member's email address will never be shared with or displayed to any other person. Members and their friends, and other Members within their personal communicate on JuzFrens with each other through the JuzFrens service, without disclosing email addresses. Updating, storage and security of personal information held by JuzFrens All information is stored on the JuzFrens systems. Safeguards including physical, technical (firewalls, SSL encryptions etc) and procedural methods are used to protect this data. You can update your contact and profile information at any time by logging onto JuzFrens’ website and following the appropriate links. Communications with other members are deleted from our systems on a regular basis. Other personal information provided voluntarily by you in response to surveys, competitions etc is deleted on a regular basis as soon as possible after the end of the event. Complaints and other feedback are stored indefinitely. Balancing the Privacy Needs and Rights of Two or More MembersPlease note that as a general policy, JuzFrens does not review the content of private e-mail messages or screen the Profiles posted by JuzFrens members (although it may periodically review the information posted in the public areas of the service) and accepts no responsibility for resolving disputes between members. JuzFrens receives communications from members concerning other members. These may be testimonials, complaints or general information. JuzFrens aims to be as open as possible with all its members, without compromising the privacy of any individuals. If you complain about another member, we may advise that member that a complaint about him / her has been received. However, we will not tell the member who made the complaint without your express permission. Further, if we suspect that the member would be able to identify who made the complaint, we will not advise that a complaint has been made unless we have your express permission. When a complaint about a member is received, no action will be taken unless the complaint is substantiated by evidence. However, a record of the complaint may be made and included in the data held about that member. Communications between two members will be released to either member on request. They will not be released to third parties. If another member has written 'private notes' about you, JuzFrens considers that those notes were written for that member's use only, and to display them to others would be a violation of that member's privacy. Those notes will not as a rule; be released to you, even if you request all information held by JuzFrens about you. JuzFrens staff use of and access to information held by JuzFrens JuzFrens employees and contractors may also be members of the site, and their employment may give them access to information not generally available to other members of JuzFrens or the general public. The following code governs the behaviour of JuzFrens employees and contractors: They will not use personal contact information or other personal information held by JuzFrens for any purpose other than the performance of their jobs. They may post profiles, but will not send SMS or take other proactive steps, which may be construed as encouraging members to spend money contacting them. If they wish to contact another JuzFrens member, they will do so by email through the JuzFrens system, at no cost to the JuzFrens member. On first contact with another member, whether initiated by the employee / contractor or by the other member, they will make it known that they are employees of JuzFrens. Where another member has unknowingly paid to initiate contact with a JuzFrens employee or contractor, the employee or contractor will also offer a refund should the member desire.
